FPS Economy aims to make its website and other websites it manages (campaign sites) accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Therefore, we endeavour to comply as fully as possible with the accessibility standards laid down by the law of 19 July 2018 transposing European directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public authorities’ websites and mobile applications.

This accessibility statement was drawn up on 6 January 2020 and last revised on 9 March 2020. The compliance of this website and the campaign sites with the requirements of directive (EU) 2016/2102 was verified on the basis of an Accessibility Check by FPS BOSA and a self-assessment by FPS Economy.

Level of compliance with the accessibility standard

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are a set of standards for accessibility requirements for people with disabilities. These guidelines can be implemented at three levels: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

We are partially compliant with level A of the WCAG 2.1 as some parts of our website do not fully comply with these guidelines.

    Limitations and alternatives

We are doing our utmost to make our entire website and the campaign sites and the documents it contains accessible to all. However, some of these documents are not yet fully accessible. More specifically, this concerns information archived in pdf format including various publications and activity reports. Making these documents accessible would entail a disproportionate cost. However, if you would like to receive an accessible version of a document, please send an email to webmaster@economie.fgov.be.

FPS Economy uses the application Leadpages for its campaign sites. Due to technical limitations of this application, some parts of campaign sites may not be fully accessible, like identification of frames and pop-ups, some contrast ratios, …

If, while browsing our website or campaign sites, you encounter other information (pdfs, images, etc.) or web pages that are not accessible to you, please let us know.

FPS Economy also uses the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube to communicate about its competences. The information provided through these channels is also available on the FPS Economy website or on other websites managed by FPS Economy. We can, of course, be contacted using these social networks, but you can also contact us by phone or email through our Contact Centre.

    Accessibility audit

Our website's and campaign site’s accessibility is checked regularly using an Accessibility check developed by FPS Policy and Support (BOSA).

This is a tool that can be installed in your browser's bookmarks bar which creates a report on the accessibility of the web page you are browsing using a set of tests.
