How does it work?
Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process.
The mediator acts as a neutral third party to facilitate communication between the parties.
After identifying the issues to be addressed, he or she helps the parties to find solutions that meet their interests and needs with a view to drafting an agreement, which can be approved by a court if the parties so wish.
Trained in civil and commercial mediation, I favour “facilitative” mediation, i.e. mediation in which the mediator does not influence the parties on the content of the dispute but helps them to find a common solution
