    How does it work

The CEBEGECO mediator is approved by the FPS Justice in application of the loi du 21 février 2005 modifiant le code judiciaire en ce qui concerne la médiation (act of 21 February 2005 modifying the Code of judicial procedure as regards mediation). It respects the ethical principles inherent in its function. The mediator is neutral and accepted by both parties. It cannot testify in court and does not send any report to the judge; the content of the exchanges remains strictly confidential, with the possible exception of the agreement protocol signed jointly by the parties.

The mediator leads the discussion, defines the conflict and identifies and clarifies the choice. Without imposing any solution, it makes it possible for the parties to exchange their points of view in a constructive form of communication. It encourages dialogue and reflection in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, respect and trust conducive to creativity. Lastly, it makes it possible to reach an agreement in accordance with the regulations and with the interests of each party.
