There are two possibilities:
- Either you contact an insurance broker who will carry out a comparative study and send you the results of his analysis, as well as his reasons for choosing the product and the insurance company he advises for you;
- Or you can scour the market yourself and compare the premiums offered, as well as the products and services. Then, you enter into a contract directly with the insurer or through a broker who works with the insurer.
To help you, the Federal Public Service Economy, SMEs, Self-employed and Energy provides you with a list of the various insurance companies active in Belgium in the civil liability branch.
If after completing these steps, you cannot find an insurer who will cover your risk, you can contact the Civil Liability Car insurance Rating Bureau directly (or through a broker).
