Federal Council of Certified Surveyors

The Federal Council of Certified Surveyors maintains a list of certified surveyors who meet the requirements for pursuing the profession or who wish to use the title. It decides on applications for accreditation as a certified surveyor. It checks whether the registered certified surveyors comply with ethical rules. It can impose sanctions for certified surveyors who fail to do so.

The Federal Council of Surveyors is responsible for drawing up a list of certified surveyors who agree to be appointed as co-curator in the event of bankruptcy of a certified surveyor.
This list is also filed with the central solvency register.

The Federal Council of appeal for Certified Surveyors decides on appeals lodged by a certified surveyor against a decision of the Federal Council of Certified Surveyors.
