There is a duplicate when a registered entity has been assigned multiple enterprise numbers.
This can relate to both registered entities natural person or registered entities legal person.
In particular, the following are presumed to be duplicates:
- for registered entities natural person: the numbers relating to entities with the same surname, first name, address and possibly the same national register number and/or bis register number;
- for registered entities legal person: the numbers relating to entities with the same name, the same registered office address and possibly the same legal form.
