Have you booked the separate travel service via an intermediary who also acts as a tour operator or package travel retailer? As a traveller, you are legally protected in the event of the financial insolvency of the intermediary. You are therefore not covered by this legal protection if you have booked a travel service yourself directly with a travel service provider, without the intervention of a trader from the travel sector.

If the trip is compromised by the financial insolvency of the intermediary, the insurance company will intervene and offer you a refund.

Visit the website of the insolvency insurer. You will find the contact details in your travel contract and in the travel confirmation. Use the declaration form on the website to submit your request for intervention online or by mail.

Are you sure that you booked a separate travel service? Visit our page showing a definition of the different types of travel contracts.
