Please note! As a seller of motor vehicles, you must inform your customers about the obligation to insure their vehicles.
As a seller, you must comply with the Code of Economic Law and more particularly the rules relating to market practices. Failure to tell the consumer that the vehicle you are selling them must be insured may be considered a misleading omission within the meaning of Article VI.99 of the Code of Economic Law.
Having to take out civil liability car insurance in order to use the vehicle in public places may influence consumers in deciding whether or not to purchase the vehicle.
Lessors
As a lessor of motor vehicles, you have the obligation to have your vehicles insured with civil liability car insurance.
