The US Federal Trade Commission, a trusted partner of the Economic Inspectorate in Belgium, and the US state of Missouri have taken the company Next-Gen, Inc. and related companies to court. They allegedly scammed people inside and outside the US by post. In exchange for a small fee, they allowed them to participate in deceptive lottery games and games of skill in order to win a non-existent cash prize. Consumers in Belgium were also scammed.

As a result of a court settlement, those affected are now entitled to a payout through PayPal. In order to receive that payout, you must visit the website www.ftc.gov/NextGen and click on "Get My Payment". Then enter your claim number and your e-mail address. You will receive your payment within two weeks. Once the amount is available, you will receive an e-mail from PayPal. If you do not yet have a PayPal account, you can create one using the information in the e-mail.

For more information or if you have any questions about the lawsuit, please visit www.ftc.gov/NextGen.
