Launch of the federal Broadband Competence Office (BCO)

The FPS Economy announces the official launch of its federal Broadband Competence Office (BCO) on Tuesday 4 October 2022. Minister Petra De Sutter will attend the event.

The BCO supports the promoters of telecommunication infrastructure that are co-financed by public funds. Furthermore, the BCO acts as the interface between the different parties involved: local authorities, investors, and federal or European administrations.

The service is free and covers all project phases, from the preparation to the operational phase. Questions about the BCO can be sent to BCO@economie.fgov.be.
